Clubs reminded about medical provision for players

2nd August, 2023

The Toolstation NCEL is reminding clubs of their duty of care for their squad after observations that some dugouts have been without personnel to treat player injuries.

There have been reports also of teams that were without even a first aid kit.

Clubs are reminded that provision is required in line with the FA's Standardised Rules for the National League System, in particular Rule 25 entitled "Qualified Medical Practitioner".

Failure to comply is a breach of the Rules and the tariff, if proven, is a fine of between £25 and £100.
