Congratulations to Toolstation NCEL General Manager Matt Jones who has completed the One Million Step Challenge to raise money for Diabetes UK.

In just under two months, he has walked 560 miles - the equivalent of 21-and-a-half marathons - with 1,000,801 steps taken since he started the challenge at the end of June.

Matt set an initial target of £180 but he has raised almost double that amount and his JustGiving page will remain open until the end of September so that the final amount collected can be even higher.

Diabetes UK are on a mission to create a world where diabetes can do no harm by funding vital research into life-changing treatments and providing support to help people to live better with diabetes.
