Maltby Main have extended their lead at the top of the Premier Division to four points after Wednesday's home win over Eccleshill United.

Tommy Fletcher and Russ Hobson had put the Muglet Lane side two goals up within the opening eleven minutes before Luke Hudson pulled one back for the visitors.

But, Fletcher made sure of the points with three minutes remaining to make it a 3-1 victory for Main.

Eccleshill drop to tenth after that defeat.

One team that have moved ahead of them are Hallam who, through a brace from Anthony Wilson, created a surprise by winning 2-0 at Sutton Town on Tuesday.

Retford United remain fourth in the table after a 3-3 draw at Arnold Town with five of the goals coming in a fifteen-minute second-half period.

Neil Harvey had opened the scoring for the visitors after 28 minutes but the frenzy began after 62 minutes when Ricky Law grabbed an equaliser.

Retford regained their lead six minutes later through a Gary Wright own goal, his second in two games, but Law once again pulled the home side level seconds afterwards.

Peter Duffield gave the Badgers the lead for the third time on 72 minutes but Arnold show great resilience to come back again thirteen minutes from time through Nick Hall.

Garforth Town had a convincing 3-0 home win over Thackley and are now eleventh in the table.

Duncan Williams grabbed the first in the last minute of the opening period before Greg Kelly and Shane Kelsey claimed the victory in the second half.

And, it was a five goal thriller at Leeds Road with visitors Carlton Town coming out 3-2 winners at Glasshoughton Welfare.

A Gary Shelton penalty had given the hosts the perfect start but Daniel Blair equalised soon after and, on 64 minutes, Chris Atkins put the away side ahead.

Nigel Croad quickly responded with an equaliser but Atkins got his second and Carlton's third to move them up to seventh.

Mickleover Sports are just behind them in eighth place after a 1-0 home win over Armthorpe Welfare, Tony Law with the only goal of the game on 55 minutes.

Meanwhile, in the East Riding Senior Cup, two own goals helped Hull City progress at Hall Road Rangers in front of a crowd of 267.

Ricky Foster and Mike Gibson found their own net to hand the Tigers a two goal lead.

Adam Walker brought a bit of resistance from the home side but Callum Russell made it 3-1 with five minutes remaining.
