Sheffield are the new leaders of the Premier Division after winning the third-versus-second clash at Selby Town.
Gary Townsend and Chris White had put them two-up in the opening twenty minutes before Selby pulled one back on the stroke of half-time through Gary Jones.
But, Sheffield claimed their 3-1 victory thanks to a Vill Powell strike soon after the interval to move above Maltby Main, who did not play.
Selby Town drop to fifth after the two sides below them, Retford United and Hallam, both won.
Retford are third after a single-goal win at home to Thackley, Greg Wright with the vital strike just after the hour mark.
And, Hallam climb to fourth with the biggest victory of the day as they thumped visitors Pickering Town 5-0.
A whirlwind start saw two goals from Billy Rowley and one from Lee Winfindale after just seven minutes.
Chris Dickman added a fourth on 49 minutes before a late strike from Ashley Longstaff completed the rout.
Mickleover Sports are now sixth following a 1-1 draw at home to Sutton Town, James Dooley getting the Snipes a point on their travels at the end of the first half.
At the foot of the table, honours were shared between the bottom two sides as Brodsworth Welfare and Shirebrook Town fought out a 1-1 draw.
It leaves Shirebrook four points adrift of Welfare but with three games in hand.
Glapwell moved up into the top ten with a battling victory over Carlton Town at Hall Corner - Ian Brown grabbing both their goals in a 2-1 victory.
Garforth Town came from behind to beat visitors Long Eaton United 3-1, Aaron Brady's opener cancelled out by Gerard McCargo on 60 minutes before Dan Sheriffe and Duncan Williams completed the turnaround in the last quarter-of-an-hour.

Meanwhile, Parkgate's David Taylor scored at both ends of the pitch in their 2-1 win at Dinnington Town.
Brian Cusworth had put the visitors ahead on 39 minutes before Taylor diverted the ball into his own net to level matters on 47.
But, Taylor claimed the winner with just eleven minutes remaining to more than make amends.
South Normanton Athletic move up to fourth after a 3-2 win against fellow high-flyers Gedling Town although they almost threw their victory away.
They were coasting at 2-0 up with five minutes remaining with goals from Dean Whiley and Adam Newton when Gedling brought the match level through Tim Hogg and Ady Francis.
But, in the third minute of injury time, Matthew Baxter was on hand to strike the winning goal in an unbelievable finish.
And, things were almost as dramatic at Bracken Edge where Hall Road Rangers claimed a 6-3 win over their hosts, Yorkshire Amateur.
Adam Walker and Paul Farley had given Rangers a two-goal lead by half-time but Amateur had drawn level within seven minutes of the second half.
A Farley penalty restored the visitors' lead soon after and Mike Gibson, Jamie Barnwell and Richard Tracey put the game beyond doubt with ten minutes remaining.
Graham Bingley grabbed a late penalty for a consolation for the home side but they now drop to sixteenth in the table whilst Rangers climb to eleventh.
Going above them are Borrowash Victoria who thumped bottom side and hosts Rossington Main, 4-0.
