Brighouse Town are the new leaders of the Baris NCEL Premier Division after their 3-2 win at Heanor Town in midweek.
They came from behind on two occasions to go above Scarborough Athletic by a point but having played one game more.
Neil Grayson's 28th minute penalty put Heanor ahead before Ryan Hall levelled at the start of the second period.
Jeremy Mitchell restored the home side's advantage only for James Hurtley to cancel it out in the 53rd minute.
And, Hall scored the winner in the final few moments to secured a vital victory for Brighouse.
Bridlington Town's title challenge stuttered with a 1-1 draw at Liversedge which means they are now five points away from the summit.
