There was disappointment for all three Toolstation NCEL sides who were involved in FA Carlsberg Vase action on Saturday as they bowed out of the competition at the Third Round stage.
Thackley went down 1-0 at Ashington whilst Bridlington Town were beaten 2-0 at Spennymoor Town and Staveley Miners Welfare lost 2-0 at home to Morpeth Town.
It means the league's hopes are now pinned on Brighouse Town whose home clash with Whickham was called off due to a waterlogged pitch and is now being played on Tuesday evening.
Tadcaster Albion stretched their unbeaten run to 23 games and kept their lead at the top of the Premier Division at eight points with a 2-0 home victory over Heanor Town.
