Albion Sports started the day in third spot but their 3-1 defeat at home to Basford United saw them drop an incredible six places to ninth, showing how tight the table is behind the top two.
Blair Anderson, Tyeisse Nightingale and Ryan Whitehurst got the goals for Basford that saw them replace their hosts in third whilst Retford United moved up into fourth as Bobby Johnson's 78th minute penalty ensured a 2-1 victory at Bridlington Town.
