Friendly Change For Moorlands

19th July, 2006

Lincoln Moorlands' home friendly with Nettleham, due to take place tomorrow evening, has been postponed but the Division One club have quickly found a new opponent.

They will now face fellow NCEL side Sutton Town at their Newark Road Ground, kick-off is at 7.30pm.

Manager Rick Ranshaw has earmarked some more trialists to play in the game plus some players returning from holiday.

And, he wants to build on the excellent result at Deeping Rangers on Saturday.

They beat the United Counties League outfit, 1-0, with a team that contained no less than five sixteen- and seventeen-year-olds, some of whom are still at school.

Ranshaw said: "Everyone has a chance of making it to the first team and, with eight friendlies, there is plenty of opportunity to impress.

"From my point of view, everyone has worked incredibly hard so far and the team spirit is exceptional with everyone wanting to be part of the rejuvenation of the club."
