South Normanton Athletic have captured the signing of experienced striker Lee Aldred.

He joined before the noon deadline today and so will be included in the squad for tomorrow's FA Vase game against Loughborough Dynamos.

His signing comes only a couple of weeks after the transfer of Kevin Mabon from Arnold Town, and the transfer of Barry Stokes from local neighbours Sutton Town earlier in the week.

Secretary Andrew Meredith said: "Lee has scored numerous goals wherever he has played and is definitely capable of changing any match which make him a good acquisition.

"Glynn Stacey and Mark Harvey are now building an exciting squad with experience, youth and also locally grown talent which is pleasing for all to see at the club."
