Stuart Lowe has become the new Assistant Manager at Staveley Miners Welfare.

It follows David Frain's decision to step down because of increased work commitments.

43-year-old Stuart has a wealth of experience at non-league level, especially from his time at Buxton where he amassed 86 goals in 232 appearances as a striker.

The current Staveley Manager Kenny Geelan was also at the Silverlands at that time.

Stuart also played for Gainsborough Trinity, Sheffield, Droylesden and Leek Town.
