White Wolves Mourn Death of Former Chairman
20th March, 2013
It is with great sadness that Louth Town have announced the sudden death of former chairman and founder member, Kerry Coggle, at the age of 60.
An estate agent in Louth, Kerry was one of the people largely responsible for the formation of Louth Town back in May 2007 and, even though he had since stepped down as chairman, he continued to work tirelessly behind the scenes raising money for the club through sponsorship.
A spokesperson from the club said: "Kerry was ever present at home games and travelled away with the team whenever possible.
"He will always be remembered for his witty comments and his ritual at every game of doing a lap of the pitch which, amazingly, often produced a goal although not always for his beloved White Wolves!
"He will be very much missed by everyone involved with the club, including committee members, management, players and supporters alike."
Everyone at the Baris NCEL would like to send their deepest condolences to Kerry's friends and family, and to Louth Town for their loss.
