Rangers Announce Shirt Sponsor
6th August, 2013
Hall Road Rangers have secured a deal with local Hull-based telecommunications provider Flex Communications as their 2013/14 shirt sponsor.
It's a major step forward for Rangers who played most of the past season without a sponsor on their shirts due to a lack of investment.
The shirt deal comes on the back of a growing good relationship between the club and company after an initial investment in pitchside advertising was made.
Darren Sunley from Flex said: "It's great to be involved with Hall Road Rangers because, as a local company ourselves, we feel it's important to support clubs like them.
"In a city of big sporting clubs many get overlooked and they need help from the local business community. I look forward to going to watch the matches."
Flex Communications are a Hull based company offering its services across the UK to all types of businesses, ranging from small start-ups to large corporate clients.
"This is a massive boost to us," said Hall Road Rangers press officer Lee Myers. "With the current economic climate, it is hard to find people willing to support and invest in local sport but Flex have been brilliant with us.
"They have shown a dedication to the local community and their investment will go a long way towards helping sustain the good work that we at the club do with the young men and women who play and train under our banner."
