Dinnington Town striker Liam Cartledge is set to reach a remarkable milestone in their Toolstation NCEL Division One match at Hallam tonight.

His appearance in the encounter will be his 450th for the club he's represented since 2000, save for a couple of years at Retford United, and he will looking to add to his goals tally of 277 scored in the Central Midlands League and the NCEL.

A club spokesman told us: "Over the years he has played in every position, has always given 100% and this season he has made memorable appearances at left-back and even in goal.

"He is a likeable lad both on and off the pitch and is well respected by opposition fans and players alike.

"let's hope he adds a few more goals and appearances before this season is over.
