Humphreys is new Ollerton boss

10th January, 2024

Ollerton Town have announced that James Humphreys is the Toolstation NCEL Division One side's new manager.

He is well known in the league for spells at Hallam, Worksop Town and Barton Town, and he will now look to turn around the North Nottinghamshire team's season as they look to stay in Step 6 football.

Humphreys replaces duo Craig Collins and Tom Chambers who stepped down from their joint managerial role at the Walesby Lane Sports Ground at the weekend.

The club are currently bottom of the Division One table with nineteen games remaining in their bid to reduce the thirteen-point gap between themselves and a place outside of the relegation zone.

Ollerton's next game is a trip to fellow bottom three side Armthorpe Welfare next Tuesday (16th) followed by a match at neighbours Clay Cross Town seven days later.
