New Sponsor For Sedge

6th July, 2006

Liversedge FC have today announced a major sponsorship deal with Huddersfield based concrete suppliers Readymix Huddersfield Ltd.

A significant deal has been secured for the coming season that will see their logo on the shirts as club sponsors and looks set to provide a substantial footing in the club's quest to gain promotion into the UniBond League.

Readymix Huddersfield Ltd Managing Director, Jackie Berry, daughter of company founder Jack Myers, is pleased to be supporting the club.

She said: "When approached by Liversedge F.C. to help with the ground improvements necessary to match the club's ambition, Readymix Huddersfield Ltd were delighted to be able help a local club with similar vision to my father, the late Jack D Myers, when he founded what is now The Myers Group."

Liversedge Chairman, Bob Gawthorpe, is delighted with the deal, saying: "This is a tremendous lift for us. I'm also pleased that it's a company with firm traditions and morals that have chosen to back our club. I look forward to what I'm sure will be a good relationship with our new sponsor."
