Welfare Mourn Loss Of Chairman

Premier Division side Glasshoughton Welfare were left shocked and stunned at the untimely death of chairman Gordon Day during the close season.
Match Secretary Barry Bennett has led the tributes, telling The NCEL Website: "The large numbers who attended the funeral service at Pontefract Crematorium were a testimony to the popularity of Gordon both within the community and football circles."
All of us at the NCEL would like to send our condolences to Gordon's family and Glasshoughton Welfare.
