New Faces For Sheffield At Tournament

The unique heritage tournament hosted by NCEL Premier Division side Sheffield FC takes place at their Coach & Horses Ground this weekend.

Sheffield FC - officially oldest club in the world - will take on the oldest club in Wales, NEWI Cefn Druids and a representative side from the Isle of Man.

The famous former FA Amateur Cup finalists, Corinthian Casuals, from Surrey complete the four-club heritage line up.

And there are set to be some new faces in the host side's line-up.

Ex-Norwich City defender Andy Brownrigg, who once cost ?100,000 when signing from Hereford Utd, will be making his debut.

He'll be joined by Chris Dolby from Belper Town and Miles Thorpe from Worksop Town.

Prolific scorer Jon Pickess, who has been out injured for 20 months, will be in the squad too following two knee operations.

Saturday 22nd July
12.30pm - Sheffield FC v Isle Of Man XI
3pm - Corinthian Casuals v NEWI Cefn Druids

Sunday 23rd July
12pm - Isle Of Man XI v Corinthian Casuals
