Sutton Town manager Lee Wilson strengthened his squad further today with the capture of goalkeeper Leigh Walker.

Walker, 25, has played in the top level of the Non-League game having previously starred in the Conference with Scarborough.

He had recently been playing UniBond League football at Grantham Town.

Commenting on the signing, Wilson said: "With Leigh Walker we have signed a top class goalkeeper with Conference experience."

Meanwhile, an earlier report that the Snipes had also signed striker Aaron Brady was incorrect, say the club.

They say that Long Eaton United still hold the NCEL registration for the frontman.
