Glasshoughton Welfare are making final preparations before their long trip to Wessex League opponents Wimborne Town in the FA Vase on Saturday.

Welfare will be commencing the 250 mile journey to Dorset from their Leeds Road headquarters at 1.30pm on Friday, arriving at the Mae Mar Hotel in Bournemouth in time for evening meal.

On the day of the game, following a late breakfast/pre-match meal, the party will make the half hour coach trip to 'The Cuthbury', the home ground of Wimborne Town.

Following the game, the party will again be staying overnight in Bournemouth, returning back to Yorkshire after breakfast arriving back at Glasshoughton late Sunday afternoon.

There are still places available on the coach for anyone wanting to support the team.
