New Physio Needed at Armthorpe
9th June, 2013
Armthorpe Welfare are actively seeking a suitably qualified match day physio for the new season.
The primary responsibility of the role is to provide pitchside first aid cover for injuries sustained by players during a match. For this reason, the suitable candidate should hold a relevant first aid certificate.
The role would also be suitable for a student of physiotherapy or a related course who is looking to gain experience in sport and working in a pitchside environment.
Furthermore, if you are not a physio but are somebody who holds a First Aid in Sport certificate or related and are looking to put your valuable skills to use then the NCEL Premier Division club would like to hear from you.
This is a voluntary role as all roles at the club are filled by volunteers. Reasonable expenses will be met, and all first aid equipment is provided. The club have recently secured funding and purchased a brand new stretcher, fracture splints and an Automated External Defibrilator.
The role is flexible and open to development, making it an excellent and exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
Anyone interested in the role should email Martin Turner at armthorpe.welfare@hotmail.co.uk
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like an informal chat to discuss the role or require more information.
