Cook Takes Over at Pikes
4th November, 2013
Pickering Town have announced that Mitch Cook is the club's new manager following Jimmy Reid's departure last week.
A statement from the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side said: "Pickering Town Football Club have today appointed Mitch Cook as their new manager and wish him well for the future.
"Cook was previously manager at the club between September 2010 and May 2011 before leaving to become manager at Bridlington Town.
"The club would like to thank coaches Steve Brown and Dean McCauley for all their hard work since December 2011 and for their commitment in taking charge of the team last Saturday against Thackley.
"However, they indicated they did not wish to continue in their coaching capacity at the club.
"They have been stalwarts for Pickering Town Football Club for many years and will always be welcomed back at the club.
"It is with regret that some players have decided to leave the club."
