Louth Town resign from NCEL

The Toolstation NCEL has this weekend accepted the resignation of Louth Town from the competition.
The White Wolves had been in the NCEL since the 2010/11 season following their promotion from the Central Midlands League.
Their highest position in Division One was recorded in the 2013/13 campaign where they finished third.
Further announcements about what this means to the proposed constitution of the league for next season will be made in due course.
New secretary needed at Louth Town

Louth Town are looking for a new club secretary for next season after current post holder Rick Hill announced his intention to stand down at the end of the current campaign.
Responsibilities will include dealing with football club correspondence, submitting data to the league after each match and handling player registration forms.

Louth stunned by death of youth player

Louth Town are deeply saddened to learn of the passing away of junior player Jordan Eyre.
Fourteen-year-old Jordan was injured in an accident on Friday and was sadly unable to recover, passing away in Hull Royal Infirmary on Monday morning.
Since joining the club, Jordan has been coached by Lee Freeman who said: "I had the privilege of coaching Jordan for the last 6 seasons and his big heart and sheer determination to do well endeared him to us all."
Everyone connected with Louth Town FC would like to send our condolences to Jordan's family and friends at this sad time. He will be greatly missed around Park Avenue and around the town of Louth.
As a mark of respect for Jordan, all of Louth Town's junior matches have been postponed this weekend.
