Points Deduction For Brodsworth
8th May, 2008
NCEL Premier Division side Brodsworth Welfare have been deducted two points with immediate effect.
They were found to have fielded players in two matches who should have been sidelined due to County FA suspension.
The first player was involved in the 3-3 draw at home to Armthorpe Welfare on Boxing Day.
Then, a different player took part in the 2-2 draw at Maltby Main on January 19th.
The points deduction does not affect the Premier Division table's final positions.
Brodsworth still end the season in thirteenth place but have now totalled 45 points.
