Important information regarding promotion from NCEL

The following statement has been released by the Toolstation NCEL in order to clarify a couple of matters with regards to promotion from the competition for the 2019/20 season.
The NCEL have been informed by the FA that clubs seeking promotion from the NCEL Premier Division to Step 4 at the end of the 2018-19 season DO NOT need to apply for promotion.
Any team finishing in a promotion position will find that promotion is MANDATORY once again this season.
In addition, there have been several stories in the press recently regarding changing room sizes which have caused concern to clubs.
The NCEL has been assured that nothing in the current regulations has changed.
Teams being promoted to Step 4 for season 2019/20 will still have until 31st March, 2020, to ensure they meet the required standard of ground grading for the higher league.
