It is with great sadness that the NCEL has to announce that former chairman David Morrall passed away last night after a long illness.

David, who also served the league as referees secretary and devoted many years of service to the FA, will always be remembered very fondly by the league and everyone who had the opportunity to work with and know him over many years.

Details of the funeral arrangements will be circulated once they are confirmed.

We all send our deepest condolences to his wife Steph and to all of his friends and family.
