Toolstation NCEL Match Review 2014/15 #37
14th December, 2014
Heavy rain and then an overnight freeze meant that only six Toolstation NCEL matches could go ahead on Saturday.
Worksop Town climbed up to second in the Premier Division and are now just four points behind the leaders Tadcaster Albion after a 10-0 home demolition of basement side Glasshoughton Welfare.
There were hat-tricks for Connor Sellars and Mitch Husbands, as well as doubles for Conor Higginson and Chris Whincop, as the Tigers posted their biggest league win of the season.
Kieran Wells' 77th minute strike earned Heanor Town a 1-0 home win over Maltby Main to move up into fourth spot whilst Bridlington Town are sixth after beating visitors Handsworth Parramore by the same scoreline, Ombeni Ruhanduka with the vital strike just before half-time.
The Seasiders go above Cleethorpes Town who went down to a single goal at home to Athersley Recreation, Anthony Mackie netting from the penalty spot in the third minute.
And, in the two Division One games, Louth Town are up to fifth after their 5-2 victory at Yorkshire Amateur whilst two goals from Jamie York helped Shirebrook Town to a 3-2 win at home to Knaresborough Town that moves them into sixth.
