18th January, 2015
Toolstation NCEL Premier Division leaders Tadcaster Albion are through to the last sixteen of the FA Vase after a 3-2 victory at home to Midland League side Brocton on Saturday.
Denny Ingram and Carl Stewart ensured the Brewers came from behind to lead at the interval but they were pegged back early in the second period before Callum Ward got what turned out to be the winner in the 67th minute.
Three more of our league's sides will also be in Monday's draw for the Fifth Round but their Fourth Round ties are yet to be decided.
Shaw Lane Aquaforce will have a replay in midweek after a 1-1 draw at Walsall Wood, Shane Kelsey's penalty restoring parity in the 23rd minute after the home side took an early lead.
Meanwhile, AFC Mansfield's trip to Chadderton and Worksop Town's home game against Glossop North End were postponed due to an overnight cold snap and will now be played on Tuesday and Wednesday night, respectively.
Heanor Town, however, are out of the competition after going down 1-0 at home to Northern League side Dunston UTS.
The bad weather also had a big impact on the league schedule with only three Premier Division games and six matches in Division One going ahead.
Sixth-placed Bridlington Town missed out on a chance to close the gap slightly on the top flight's top five as they went down 4-3 in a thrilling match at Pickering Town.
The Seasiders were leading 3-2 going into the last ten minutes but Joel Ramm then scored twice to complete his hat-trick and take the victory for the Pikes, the winner coming in stoppage time.
Two goals from Mark Simpson helped Garforth Town to a 6-1 home win over Retford United whilst bottom side Nostell Miners Welfare were beaten by a couple of late goals as they went down 2-0 to visitors Thackley.
AFC Emley's lead in Division One has been cut to one point as they drew 2-2 at Bottesford Town.
Twice they led through Ashley Flynn and Daniel Claridge but first Thomas Spall restored parity and then Wayne Graves made sure the spoils were shared with eight minutes remaining.
Hemsworth Miners Welfare took advantage to get within touching distance of the top with a 4-2 victory at home to Dronfield Town, the division's top scorer Nicholas Guest amongst those finding the net for his 29th goal of the season.
A 5-0 win for Louth Town at basement side Grimsby Borough saw them move up into fifth spot, Jamie Coulson getting a brace for the White Wolves.
But, it was not the biggest away victory as Hallam beat Lincoln Moorlands Railway, 8-1, James Wright claiming a hat-trick as his side climbed into fifteenth place as a result.
Lee Holmes' hat-trick saw Rossington Main win 3-1 at home to Winterton Rangers whilst six goals were shared at Church View Road where it finished 3-3 between Penistone Church and Selby Town.
