12th February, 2015
Clipstone will play in this year's Notts Senior Cup Final at Mansfield Town's One Call Stadium after a home win over Toolstation NCEL rivals Retford United in midweek.
The Cobras beat their Premier Division visitors, 4-1, and will now face former NCEL side Basford United for the trophy at the end of April.
Retford took the lead on fourteen minutes through Kyle Hadley but Josh Gibson immediately equalised and Karl Colley gave Clipstone a lead by half-time.
Gibson then got his second and Ryan Damms added a fourth late in the game for Chris Millington's side.
Two goals from Dave Bordman helped Nostell Miners Welfare to a 3-1 home win over Rossington Main to move into the Semi-Finals of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup whilst Athersley Recreation have reached the Quarter-Finals with a 1-0 extra-time victory at Penistone Church, Ryan Blackburn grabbing the victory with a goal in the 117th minute.
Bridlington Town came from behind to win 3-1 at home to Reckitts in the Quarter-Finals of the East Riding Senior Cup, Ashley Allanson, Eddy Birch and Danny Smith firing the Seasiders into the last four.
Late goals from Bruno Holden and Steve Woolley saw Handsworth Parramore progress in the League Cup with a 3-1 home victory over Shaw Lane Aquaforce in the Fourth Round.
In the one midweek Premier Division game, Albion Sports are up to ninth after they beat visitors Garforth Town, 3-1, a Ben Hunter own goal and a Brice Tiani strike claiming the points after Garforth had pulled it back to 1-1 midway through the first period.
Hemsworth Miners Welfare, Pontefract Collieries and AFC Mansfield closed the gap on Division One leaders AFC Emley with victories.
Second-placed Hemsworth are just a point off the top after a 4-1 win at Selby Town, Nicholas Guest getting two of their goals.
They are ahead of Pontefract on goal difference as Liam Radford, Aaron Joseph and Aaron Moxam netted for the Colls in a 3-0 triumph at Hall Road Rangers.
And, AFC Mansfield are a further point behind in fourth after beating visitors Worsbrough Bridge Athletic, 2-1, despite Declan Lycett giving the away side a twelfth minute lead as Dean Rick and Ryan Williams struck in the second half to claim the victory for the Bulls.
