Toolstation NCEL Match Review 2014/15 #57
8th March, 2015
Both of the Toolstation NCEL sides left in the FA Vase bowed out of the competition in Sixth Round replays on Saturday.
Tadcaster Albion were beaten 1-0 at home by Highworth Town in a match marred by ugly scenes at the end of the game with the Brewers saying in a statement that they will be working with the police, their opponents and the FA to bring those responsible for the violence to account.
Shaw Lane Aquaforce, meanwhile, were beaten in extra-time at North West Counties League side Glossop North End despite taking the lead through Joe Thornton on 78 minutes.
The home side then equalised and struck in each period of the further half-hour to progress to the final four.
It was disappointment for both of the NCEL sides but they can both take pride for their long runs in the competition.
Worksop Town have gone above Tadcaster to the top of the Premier Division after their 2-1 victory at Bridlington Town, Andrew Ofosu putting the Tigers ahead on 15 minutes before Lewis Poucher levelled for the home side and Chris Adam got the winner just after the hour mark.

A 1-1 draw for AFC Mansfield sees them drop to fifth with their hosts Bottesford Town moving up into sixth with their point, Ashley Kitchen opening the scoring on 47 minutes for the away side before a late equaliser from Lee Ridley shared the spoils.
Hemsworth Miners Welfare fall to seventh following their 3-0 home loss to Knaresborough Town, Colin Heath with a brace for the visitors.
Basement side Grimsby Borough were beaten 5-0 at home by Penistone Church to stay fourteen points adrift of Lincoln Moorlands Railway and Winterton Rangers are down into the bottom three after their 3-0 defeat at Hallam.

And, Louth Town won on their own patch, beating visitors Selby Town, 2-1.
