July kicks off with Armthorpe charity match

19th June, 2023

Armthorpe Welfare's Marra Falcons Stadium will host a charity match in memory of Paul Carragher on Saturday 1st July, 2023, kick off 1pm, with all proceeds going to Rotherham Hospice.

The match will feature a Welfare side managed by Lee Morris against PACMen FC managed by Paul Bellwood.

Entry to the game is £5 for adults with children £1 and under 5s FREE and there will be food and drinks available as well as a bouncy castle.

Rotherham Hospice’s care places the person and not the illness at the centre of everything they do.

They are an independent charity and the only adult hospice in Rotherham for the people of Rotherham and surrounding villages.

They began offering Day Hospice services in 1994, and have grown over the years to now providing a 14 bed Inpatient Unit, Day Hospice, and Hospice Community Team who provide care in the community.

Their dedicated team of staff and volunteers work together to provide palliative care that incorporates psychological, physical, social and spiritual support to help patients and their families achieve the very best quality of life, both at home and in the hospice.

Rotherham Hospice supported Paul and his family during the most difficult/challenging of times when the additional support was needed.

The staff were caring and considerate and the end of life care support was second to none.

Come along and support a great cause.
