The committee of Glasshoughton Welfare have announced that they would like to invite expressions of interest for the position of the club's first team manager/coach for season 2026/27.

Welfare are awaiting notification from the FA as to which league or division they will be members of next season following their relegation zone finish in Macron NCEL Division One.

But, they have begun their hunt for a new boss as soon as possible so that preparations can start quickly ahead of the new campaign.

Interested parties are asked, in the first instance, to send their contact information, along with details of previous experience, qualifications and what their ambitions for the club would be should they be selected, to the secretary Trish Slater at their club email address glassywelfare@yahoo.com.

Closing date for applications is 18th May, 2026.
