Eagles Unveil New Management Team

25th May, 2006

Premier Division side Arnold Town have appointed Andy Muldoon and Calvin Plummer as their new management team.

The posts became vacant following the departure of Phil Starbuck and John Ramshaw on the 6th of May.

Muldoon and Plummer take the step up after enjoying huge success last season with the club's Academy and Reserve sides.

The duo took the Reserves to the Central Midlands League Reserve title and guided the Academy to a record breaking run in the prestigious FA Youth Cup.

The pair were also instrumental in the sale of Ben Hutchinson to Middlesbrough in a club record transfer deal.

The first task for the new pairing will be to decide which of the current playing squad they wish to retain for the coming season.

New faces are also likely to come into the club as pre-season preparations are made.

Muldoon and Plummer were appointed following a recruitment process which saw the original applications short-listed to three.

The three candidates met club officials on Wednesday and Plummer and Muldoon were subsequently offered the post.
