Norbury steps down at Maltby
18th April, 2015
Maltby Main boss Mick Norbury has stepped down from his role at the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side.
A club statement said that he had tendered his resignation on Wednesday evening after a short meeting with chairman Wilf Race.
It continued: "Mick has worked tirelessly over the last two years and delivered every goal which he was set.
"He kept the club in the Premier Division on a zero budget which is a truly remarkable feat.
"The club sincerely wish Mick every success in football.
"The club have put Ian Dring and Martin Barnfield in charge for the remaining two games.
"Once the season draws to a close, Main will assess and advertise the position."
It brings to an end an eighteen-month reign at the club by Norbury who joined the Muglet Lane side in September 2013.
