Ex-Brewer becomes Pikes boss
26th May, 2015
Pickering Town have unveiled former Tadcaster Albion boss Paul Marshall as their new manager.
He replaces Tony Hackworth who left the club last week.
Marshall, who took Albion to third spot in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division table this season as well as reaching the sixth round of the FA Vase, left the Brewers earlier this month after the club decided not to renew his contract.
Speaking about his new appointment, Marshall said: "I am delighted to become the manager of Pickering Town.
"It is a well run club with good people working very hard behind the scenes which will enable me to fully concentrate on the football side.
"I am looking forward to meeting the existing and past players."
Chairman Keith Usher added: "We are delighted to welcome Paul to Pickering Town and Paul has vast knowledge of all the leagues and his man-management skills in getting the best out of his players.
"We are looking forward to working with him and hopefully together we can fulfil our ambition for the club."
