Whitehead to step down as Amber Parras chairman
29th April, 2019
It has been announced that Peter Whithead has decided to leave his position as chairman of Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side Handsworth Parramore.
The Amber Parras revealed that he is stepping down in a statement that was released on the club's website on Monday afternoon.
It added: "The club would like place on record our thanks to Pete and his wife Maureen for all their help and support of the club over the past five seasons and we wish them both well with whatever their future holds.
"Also leaving the club is HPFC secretary Max Ross who has made the decision to hang up his pen after many years involved in local league football.
"The decision of Pete and Maureen to leave the club DOES NOT affect the status of the first team who will maintain their Step 5 status and will take their place in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division next season.
"We would also like to take this opportunity in thanking all our volunteers who work so hard on and off the pitch and appreciate their support and help as we move forward into a new season.
"Further announcements will be made in the coming days and weeks as the club start their new journey into the 2019/2020 season."
