The 2015/16 Toolstation NCEL Premier Division winners Tadcaster Albion have come out top as the team with the best points per game average in the league during 2016.The 52 points they accrued in the 21 games they played in the NCEL in the past calendar year gave them a points per game average of 2.48, ahead of Pickering Town (2.29), Cleethorpes Town (2.28), AFC Emley (2.26) and Handsworth Parramore (2.17).
There were 962 matches played in the league with 3,679 goals scored, Handsworth Parramore contributing the most with 152.
Cleethorpes Town were the best team on their own patch as they averaged 2.61 points per game at home ahead of AFC Emley (2.52) and Tadcaster Albion (2.50).
And, with an average of 2.65, Pickering Town were the best team on their travels with Tadcaster Albion second on 2.45 and Bridlington Town in third with 2.27.
