Opposition sought for Tony Kempster match
9th May, 2017
A special charity match is being arranged for late July at Pocklington Town in tribute to the late, great Mr. Tony Kempster who is renowned as Mr. Non-League.
Tony passed away in 2009, following a brave battle against cancer, but his name and spirit has lived on and the Non League Matters website continues Tony's great work and honours his devotion to Non-League Football across the United Kingdom.
The charities which will benefit from this match are:
* York Against Cancer
* Macmillan Cancer Support
* The British Red Cross Society
* The North East Autism Society
The date of the game is yet to be set in stone but if any Toolstation NCEL team would like the honour of playing in this match against Pocklington Town for the inaugural Tony Kempster Memorial Trophy then please email the game organiser Gareth Griffiths at garethgriffiths221@gmail.com and please state which date from the ones given would be most preferable.
