Worksop Town closed the gap on Toolstation NCEL Premier Division leaders Tadcaster Albion to two points whilst AFC Emley equalled the league's biggest win record in Division One on Saturday.
Tadcaster, who had won at Worksop in midweek, went down 1-0 at Cleethorpes Town who move up to fifth after their win courtesy of Marc Cooper's 86th minute strike.
The Tigers left it even later to make it seven wins out of seven on their travels, beating hosts Pickering Town, 3-2, with Conor Sellars netting in injury time after the Pikes had seemingly claimed a draw with a late goal from Matthew Turnbull.
Third-placed Handsworth Parramore also enjoyed a tight victory as they defeated visitors Parkgate, 4-3, with Alex Lill scoring a hat-trick for the visitors and Jon Froggatt getting two for the home side.
Scott Phillips' double strike saw Barton Town Old Boys to a 2-0 home win over Bridlington Town so they go fourth with Clipstone dropping to sixth after a 3-3 draw at Maltby Main, Alec Denton's hat-trick rescuing a point for the Cobras after a first-half brace from Brian Cusworth had seemingly put their hosts in control.
On a day of hat-tricks, there were three for Liam Morris in Rainworth Miners Welfare's 7-1 home victory against Liversedge, a feat matched by Adam Lee as Retford United beat bottom-placed visitors Brigg Town, 6-0.
Garforth Town struck twice in the first half in their 2-0 win at home to Staveley Miners Welfare whilst Thackley prevailed 4-2 against Athersley Recreation, the away side dropping into the bottom two with that defeat.
Armthorpe Welfare move above them following their 1-1 draw at Nostell Miners Welfare whilst Pontefract Collieries were held 2-2 at home by Albion Sports.
Emley are up to seventh in Division One after they thrashed Grimsby Borough, 13-0, with Ashley Flynn moving on to 37 goals for the season as he claimed five of their tally, Alex Hallam and Michael Tunnacliffe got two each whilst Kieran Ryan, Ruben Jerome and Jordan Corduri also got on the scoresheet with a Jamie Pearson own goal compounding the visitors' misery.
AFC Mansfield dropped two points at home to Knaresborough Town but stay top of the table after their 1-1 draw, Chris Timons' first half goal for the Bulls cancelled out in the 78th minute by Gary Collier.
Bottesford Town fall to third after their twelve match winning streak came to an end with a 2-0 loss at home to Westella VIP, Alex Wood with both of the goals.
They are replaced in second spot by Hemsworth Miners Welfare who, courtesy of goals from Shane Kelsey, Adam Wilson and Samuel Jones, beat hosts Rossington Main, 3-1.
Penistone Church's fine start to the season continued as Danny Barlow's injury-time winner claimed a 1-0 home win over Winterton Rangers to keep them fourth above Hull United who won 2-0 at Hallam with goals from Nick McNamara and Louis Nagi.
Basement side Lincoln Moorlands Railway took the lead through Geno Robinson on twenty minutes but three goals in the last five minutes, two from Craig Heard, meant Yorkshire Amateur left with all three points and a 4-1 victory.
There were 2-0 away wins for Eccleshill United at Shirebrook Town and for Selby Town at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic, Teversal came from behind to win 3-2 at Glasshoughton Welfare and Dronfield Town were 2-1 victors at Hall Road Rangers.
