Four goals from Mitch Husbands helped Worksop Town to a 6-0 home win over Liversedge in midweek to move the Tigers back to the top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.

Jordon Cooke and Kyle Jordan also got on the scoresheet for Worksop who are now a point ahead of Tadcaster Albion with a game in hand.

Clipstone climbed into fourth spot as two goals from Alec Denton and Alex Nightingale, along with one each from Pat Lindley and Jahmal Smith, secured a 6-1 victory at Nostell Miners Welfare.

The Cobras go above Barton Town Old Boys who drew 1-1 at home to Staveley Miners Welfare, Courtney Hastings with a 59th minute equaliser for the visitors soon after Gareth Owen had given the hosts the lead.

Retford United went to Pontefract Collieries and picked up three points to consolidate eleventh spot with a 5-2 victory, Bradley Johnston with two of the Badgers' goals.

Garforth Town's home clash with Thackley was abandoned after 75 minutes due to fog with the visitors leading 4-0 whilst Cleethorpes Town versus Handsworth Parramore was postponed due to traffic delays.

Two goals in the last ten minutes saw Hemsworth Miners Welfare pick up a 3-2 win at Grimsby Borough to go top of Division One, Harry Viggars and Danny Critchlow with the vital strikes after the home side had gone two up by the half-hour mark.

Bottesford Town and Penistone Church remain third and fourth, respectively, after their goalless draw at Birch Park.

Hallam drew 1-1 at Dronfield Town, Micah Bishop putting them ahead on 31 minutes before Mike Akhavan-Hezaveh levelled matters early in the second period, to move them ahead of Hull United who went down 2-0 at Shirebrook Town, Jake Currie with both of the goals for the home side.

Ashley Flynn got two more goals in AFC Emley's 3-1 win at Yorkshire Amateur, leaving him just one off the 40 goal mark for the season, Gary Nimmo claimed a hat-trick in Winterton Rangers' 3-3 draw at home to Rossington Main with the visitors scoring twice in the last few minutes to snatch a point.

And, Teversal are up to twelfth following their 3-1 victory over visitors Lincoln Moorlands Railway at Carnarvon Street.

Ben Brown struck in the opening seconds to see Brigg Town through 1-0 at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic in the Second Round of the League Cup.

And, Albion Sports are out of the West Riding County Cup after they were beaten 7-0 at home by National League North side Bradford Park Avenue in the Second Round.
