Handsworth Parramore's lead at the top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division is now five points after a draw on Tuesday at a Liversedge side who picked up another precious point in their fight for survival.
Benny Igiehon netted for the home side after a quarter-of-an-hour but Simon Harrison levelled early in the second period to share the spoils with Sedge now four points away from safety with five games in hand on the side just outside the drop zone, Parkgate.
Wednesday saw Cleethorpes Town tighten their grip on third spot as late goals from Sam Walker and Daniel Trott earned them a 2-1 victory at Athersley Recreation after Danny Cawley had given the hosts a first-half lead.
Maltby Main are up to eighth as John Ballington and Lewis Bemrose netted in a 2-0 home win over Pontefract Collieries.
The defeats for Athersley and Pontefract leave both sides on 33 points and nervously perched just two points above the drop zone.
Thursday night's game saw Barton Town Old Boys climb to ninth as an Ashley Dexter brace and a Jake Vernon strike earned a comfortable 3-1 victory at home to Thackley, Thomas Dugdale with a 77th minute consolation for the visitors.
In Division One, next-to-bottom Worsbrough Bridge Athletic picked up one point from their two games in midweek so are now five points adrift in the relegation zone with five games to play.
They were beaten 5-1 at home by Hallam on Tuesday, Michael Blythen with two of the visitors goals whilst Connor Chappell, Jed Phillips and Steve Brammer also scored for the Sandygate side and Robert Oldham struck for the hosts.
The Briggers were then denied a last gasp victory on Thursday as Adam Shaw netted for Yorkshire Amateur in stoppage time to make it 2-2 after it had looked as though Brad Kerr had secured three massive points for Worsbrough.
Penistone Church are up into the play-off zone in sixth after Brett Lovell and Lewis Dickinson gave them a 2-0 win at home to Bottesford Town on Wednesday, going just ahead of Shirebrook Town and Hallam in what is turning into a tight race for the third promotion spot.
And, Westella VIP climbed to fifteenth as an Andy Coverdale double helped them to a 5-1 victory at Dronfield Town on Thursday.
