Toolstation NCEL Match Review 2016/17 #28

Much of the midweek focus was on County Cup action involving Toolstation NCEL sides whilst there was one match each that went ahead in the Premier Division and Division One.
Seven teams took part in the Second Round of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup with two all-NCEL ties.
Kieran Wells netted twice as Handsworth Parramore won 6-1 at home to Nostell Miners Welfare with Aaron Moxam, Reece Hands, Jon Froggatt and Connor Smythe also on the scoresheet whilst Connor Prestley claimed the visitors' sole goal.
Penistone Church were 3-1 victors at Rossington Main with Sam Scrivens, Daniel Joynes and Jack Moore ensuring their progression before Jake Vernon grabbed a late consolation for the hosts.
Maltby Main, meanwhile, went down 3-0 at Shaw Lane whilst, despite goals from Sam Thornton and Lebrun Mbeka, Parkgate bowed out with a 3-2 home loss to Frecheville CA.
Barton Town Old Boys and Cleethorpes Town are into the Semi-Finals of the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy after away wins at league rivals.
Thomas Waudby netted an 80th minute winner as Barton beat hosts Bottesford Town, 3-2, and a hat-trick for Andrew Taylor as well as a double for Joshua Shunter helped to ensure a 7-2 triumph for Cleethorpes at Winterton Rangers.
There was a brace for Joe Cooper as Hall Road Rangers continued their East Riding Senior Cup run with a 3-2 Second Round victory over visitors East Yorkshire Carnegie.
But, Armthorpe Welfare were beaten 6-1 at Silsden in the West Riding County Cup and Ollerton Town lost a thrilling Notts Senior Cup match, 4-3 at Eastwood Community, both Second Round encounters.
In the Premier Division, Staveley Miners Welfare are up to eleventh after a 2-0 win at near neighbours AFC Mansfield, Kurtis Morley's opener towards the end of the first half added to by a Matthew Robinson strike on 65 minutes.
And, Glasshoughton Welfare climb to ninth as Andrew Horbury's second of the night with seven minutes remaining claimed a 3-2 win at Teversal.
