The two remaining unbeaten sides in the Toolstation Northern Counties East Football League both tasted defeat for the first time this season in midweek.
Cleethorpes Town went down 2-0 at Pickering Town, a first half strike from Nicholas Thompson added to by a goal in the second period from Alex Robinson, and they are replaced at the top of the Premier Division by Thackley.
The Dennyfield side fell behind to a 25th minute opener at Liversedge from Joe Walton but Josh Snowden quickly equalised and then Kristian Hargreaves' early second half goal and an 80th minute third from Ryan Farrell saw Thackley win 3-1.
Albion Sports climb above Sedge into third after a 2-0 home victory over Worksop Town, Devonte Morton and Daniel Facey with the goals that keeps the Lions eight points off the summit.
A Mark Simpson first half brace helped Garforth Town to a 3-1 win at Retford United to move them up into eighth spot, Sean Hunter adding to their tally with a late penalty whilst Simon Mowbray had given the home side hope of a revival near the hour mark.
Bottom side Parkgate picked up a point at AFC Mansfield in a 2-2 draw, Craig Fletcher twice bringing the visitors back level after Gary Bradshaw and then Oliver Fearon had given the Bulls a slender advantage.
In Division One, leaders Penistone Church fell to their first loss of the league campaign as they were beaten 1-0 at home by Hall Road Rangers who move up to ninth after Gareth Owen's 83rd minute goal settled the encounter.
Pontefract Collieries are now third, three points off the top, after their 5-1 win at basement outfit Nostell Miners Welfare.
A blistering start saw them two up after just seventy seconds with goals from Christopher Wood and Christopher Jackson before Kane Reece's double gave them a 4-0 lead at half time, Billy Mole added a fifth on 71 minutes and then Antony Brown claimed a late consolation for the hosts.
AFC Emley are up to sixth as Jordan Coduri, Ashley Flynn, Kieran Ryan, Alex Slack and Matthew Jackson netted in a 5-1 victory at Eccleshill United whilst Worsbrough Bridge Athletic picked up their first home win of the season, beating Rossington Main 3-2 with Ryan Smith getting the vital third for the hosts.
And, Mitchell Dunne's hat-trick helped Shirebrook Town to a 4-0 home win over Brigg Town and the Langwith Road side are now fourteenth in the table.
Staveley Miners Welfare booked their place in the Third Round of the Buildbase FA Vase as they won 4-2 after extra time at Charnock Richard, Shaun Nesbitt's second goal of the evening added to by an Adam Lee strike ultimately seeing them through.
But, Hemsworth Miners Welfare will have to wait a week longer to play their Second Round tie at Dunston UTS as it was called off for a second time.
And, in County Cup action, Connor Chapell struck twice in Hallam's 5-0 home win over Athersley Recreation in the Second Round of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup whilst Dronfield Town were beaten 5-4 on penalties at New Mills at the same stage of the Derbyshire Senior Cup after their game had finished 3-3.
