Outstanding physio steps down
23rd June, 2016
Knaresborough Town are sad to announce that, after several years with the club, Peter Monks is having to stand down as club physio due to his work commitments.
A statement from the Toolstation NCEL Division One side said: "As a club, Knaresborough Town would like to place on record their thanks and appreciation of the work that Peter has done behind the scenes for the club and on a matchday.
"His professionalism on and of the pitch has seen him become a very important member of both manager Paul Stansfield and assistant Mark Smitheringale's backroom staff.
"Peter is well liked and respected by us all at Knaresborough Town and he has been a credit to the club.
"We would like to wish Peter every success in the future and hope that both he and his family will be back to visit us in the future when he has the time."
Stansfield added: "Peter has been an integral part of the team for many years. I will miss him personally, but I know it is the right decision for him and his family. He is a top man and we wish him and his family well."
