Worsbrough Bridge Athletic have announced that they will be spending an evening with former Premier League keeper Mark Crossley next month.On Saturday 25th February, the ex-Welsh international will be at the Dale Tavern, Worsbrough Dale, Barnsley, for a night of entertainment which will also feature and be comp?red by Stefan Michaels.
Crossley made over 450 appearances for the likes of Nottingham Forest under the legendary management of Brian Clough as well as spells at Middlesbrough, Fulham and Oldham Athletic whilst he also won eight caps for Wales.
Since retiring from playing, Mark has coached at Chesterfield, Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley and is currently assistant manager at Notts County so the evening promises to be one filled with lots of laughs and great stories.
Michaels is a highly popular and very successful comedian, actor, writer and comedy vocalist. He has performed his stand-up comedy shows for such venues as The RAF, corporate functions including Nestle, top holiday firms such as Thomson and holiday parks across the UK such as Fantasy Island.
He is hugely diverse and extremely talented and has worked with big names such as ITV producer Dougie Squires.
Tickets for the night are ?20 per person. There is a smart-casual dress code and doors will open at 7pm.
