17th May, 2016
Former Garforth Town and Ossett Town manager Graham Nicholas has become Nostell Miners Welfare's new boss as they prepare for life in Toolstation NCEL Division One.
He becomes the permanent replacement for Paul Lines who stood down in February.
A club statement said: "Nicholas was the stand out candidate amongst over twenty applicants, some of which had outstanding credentials. The club would like to thank all the applicants for their interest and wish them luck in their football future.
"Graham is a UEFA 'A' licensed coach with many years of experience and has worked at several professional clubs' academies. He is a high school PE teacher and wants to build a successful team with a blend of established players and giving the youth at Nostell every opportunity."
Nicholas added: "I have a desire to build on my coaching experience at the excellent facilities at Nostell."
