The Toolstation NCEL is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former Vice President Derek Waterfall last month.

Derek gave almost thirty years of service to the league, having been part of the committee at its launch in 1982 before becoming Vice President until his retirement from football in 2009 whereupon he was made a Life Member.

He sadly passed away on 22nd December, 2019, following a short illness at the age of 87.

Derek's funeral will take place on Monday 13th January, 2020, at 2pm at Woodlands Crematorium in Scunthorpe.

The request is for family flowers only but donations can be made to Jason Thredgold Funeral Directors that will then be passed on to local youth football.
