Meeting next week to discuss end of season

19th March, 2020

The Toolstation NCEL will take part in a web seminar alongside other Step 5/6 leagues in the FA's National League System next week to discuss plans on how to conclude the 2019/20 season.

Games are currently suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic and, earlier today, the FA announced that all professional football in the country will not return until 30th April, 2020, at the earliest.

A statement released by the FA said that, with regards to the National League System, "The FA is continuing to work closely with the Leagues in the National League System and is considering a number of options in relation to the conclusion of the 2019/20 season that fall in line with the advice given by Government in respect of COVID-90.

"Under the Regulations of the National League System (4.2) League fixtures are due to be completed by 25th April, 2020.

"As part of this process, The FA will be inviting all Step 5/6 League Chairs to a WebEx meeting on Tuesday 24th March, 2020."
