Parkgate missed out on a chance to move to the top of the KoolSport NCEL Premier Division as they were beaten 2-1 at fellow highflyers Tadcaster Albion in midweek.
William Senior got their goal, in between strikes from Liam Shepherd and Nick Thompson for the home side.
Parkgate remain two points behind leaders Farsley AFC and now have two games in hand whilst Tadcaster, who are undefeated in fifteen league matches, have moved up into third.
Sixth placed Brighouse Town were beaten at home by Selby Town, Adam Lee with the only goal of the game after 46 minutes.
Winterton Rangers moved up into seventh spot with a 3-0 victory at Dinnington Town, Liam Wilkin scoring in the opening half whilst Jack Cross and Liam Slack netted after the interval.
Dinnington stay in the bottom three, three points ahead of Hallam who were beaten 3-1 at Armthorpe Welfare and a point behind Arnold Town who drew 3-3 at home to Lincoln Moorlands Railway.
Armthorpe found themselves 2-0 up by the break against their Sheffield-based opponents with goals from Leo Fortune-West and James Walker.
Scott Preece had pulled one back for the visitors but Ben Muirhead made sure of the victory three minutes from time.
And, it was a dramatic game at Eagle Valley where Arnold came back from a two-goal half-time deficit to pick up a point.
Danny Brooks and Ben Good had put Moorlands ahead but Simon Hore sparked Arnold into life on 62 minutes.
Josh Schofield restored the away side's two-goal advantage with seventeen minutes to go but a Tony Law brace levelled the scores before the final whistle.
Nostell Miners Welfare came from behind to win 2-1 at home to Hall Road Rangers and climb up into eighth spot in the table.
Wayne Ball and Richard Britton got their goals in the second half after Daniel Clarke's opener for Rangers on 21 minutes.
Staveley Miners Welfare have extended their lead at the top of Division One after a 3-1 victory at Shirebrook Town.
Tom Jones put them ahead after just three minutes and, when Ryan Damms converted a penalty on 25, it looked set to be a comfortable night for the visitors.
But, they had to wait until midway through the second period for their third from Chris Coy.
Shirebrook claimed a consolation when Simon Johnson slotted home a spot kick on 76 minutes.
Grimsby Borough enjoyed a record-breaking night as they beat bottom side Brodsworth Welfare at home to move up into the top eight.
Danny Freeman took home the match ball after scoring a hat-trick whilst Lee Stephenson struck twice and Nathan Emson and Lee McFarland also got on the scoresheet in the 7-0 triumph.
Doubles from Zephaniah Thomas and Liam Charlton helped Rossington Main to a 5-0 victory at fellow strugglers Appleby Frodingham.
Bottesford Town were 3-1 home winners over Eccleshill United with all their goals coming in the first thirteen minutes from Craig Bridge, Mark Anderson and Karl Slack.
Andy Doogan pulled one back for a shell-shocked Eccleshill side halfway through the second period.
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic are up to tenth after their 3-1 win at AFC Emley.
Two more sides have made it through to the Third Round of the League Cup with Farsley AFC and Handsworth booking their places in the last sixteen.
Farsley won 3-0 at Louth Town but had to wait until the 79th minute to break the deadlock against their determined Division One hosts.
Dominic Krief's opener was quickly added to by Ben Jones and Marcus Walmsley put the tie to bed with a penalty as the game went into stoppage time.

And, Bridlington Town were 2-1 winners in a friendly at home to Hutton Cranswick, Craig Hogg and Ashley Allanson with their goals after the visitors had taken a 58th minute lead.
