Less than twenty-four hours after losing in the West Riding County Cup, Eccleshill United find themselves back in the competition.

The KoolSport NCEL Division One side were beaten 3-1 at home by Bradford Park Avenue last night.

But, it has emerged that the Evo-Stik League side fielded an ineligible player in the tie so Eccleshill take their place in the Second Round.

They will now host League rivals Thackley on Tuesday with their League Cup clash against Arnold Town, that was due to be played on November 30th, rescheduled to Tuesday 14th December.
