The NCEL League Cup's First Round matches will take place on the 19th and 20th of August.

They have been scheduled in that midweek rather than the Presidents Cup ties that had originally been there because there is less of a chance of the League Cup being disrupted by FA Cup replays.

The dates are as follows:

Tadcaster Albion v Hemsworth Miners Welfare
Teversal v Worsbrough Bridge Athletic
Yorkshire Amateur v Pontefract Collieries

WEDNESDAY 20TH AUGUST, 2008

AFC Emley v Grimsby Borough
Bottesford Town v Glasshoughton Welfare
Staveley Miners Welfare v Rainworth Miners Welfare

The First Round of the Presidents Cup will now take place in September.

Dates for those matches and the Wilkinson Sword Trophy will be announced in due course.
